The Perfect Day (part 3: the reception)

A huge THANK YOU to my wonderful family for all of their hard work they put into that reception. I just loved everything about it! We had family outside from 8 am- 9:30 pm every night a week before the wedding just working on the yard with our landscaper. It was a complete transformation as to how it was before. We debated whether or not to rent out a reception hall or use the house. I wanted to use the house for a few reasons, a more convenient location for all of the neighbors and a lot of the family (remember Jimmy and I live fairly close so it was good on both sides), and I think living on a ranch is kind of cool and wanted to showcase the pretty property and its surroundings.

Musta' been a long day

Loved this delicious cake, it fell during the reception though, luckily my aunt was there to catch it. Keep that in mind when setting your cake on grass because you may not always have an awesome aunt around to catch it!

He was oh so kind to not smash the cake all over my face and dress.

Bouquet toss. I totally forgot that I didn't have a bouquet to toss during the reception, luckily I had another awesome aunt who whipped up a good bouquet just in time.

Garter toss, I told him to take it off with his teeth, he didn't buy.

You wouldn't believe the number of honks we got....
