Shame on me and some pretty pictures

Yes, we really are wearing name tags, my family is so big we kind of have to!

I know I know, I have been a horrible blogger lately. I'd like to blame it on the sunshine and poolside, or even all of the fun projects the hubs and I have been working on. But today I'll blame my absence on our family reunion (ere- last week). We spent 2 days enjoying family, eating delicious food, hiking, smores, and all the other good stuff that comes with camping and family. We were silly and brought a full memory card so there are hardly any pictures to share. Oh well.
Summer just can't last long enough! One thing I do not like though, is that we bought a house without AC. Whew! You can usually find my face stuck in a fan with frozen veggie packs attatched to my body on a daily basis. Which is why my ice cream makers are being prepped to make ice cream like crazy as we speak. Anybody have a killer ice cream recipe?

What's been keeping you busy this summer?

*Thanks to Jimmy and my aunt for taking all of the photos!*

  1. You guys are so cute! Love that you have such a big family...I'm sure it makes for very fun (and crazy!) get-togethers. I wish I had a good ice cream recipe to share but I've never made any...need to get on that!

  2. Talk to Darryl about good recipes for ice cream. He does the ice cream making around here. :) I think Wally has some too. The family reunion sounds fun and there were lots of great pictures! Your family (or what I've met of them) are so awesome! I really enjoyed chatting with Josy, Zach and Jen a lot last night. Benji is really cool too. I could talk horses with him all day and not get bored. Haha. If we had the money and means to buy his horse (the one you guys are holding) I would TOTALLY buy her!

  3. I love that you are all wearing name tags. It's my Grandma's 80th birthday party in a few weeks, I've told her that everyone needs to have name tags for at least the first hour as there are going to be so many family members that I don't know.
