I've got a minute to sit down and blog a little before I head off to work. A few weeks ago, I went thrifting and I found this fun top for $2.99! I loved how light the fabric is, makes for some easy layering under warmer sweaters. Annnd, even though I love this rainy fall weather, I'm not following that one "only wear your season's colors at the appropriate time" rule. I'll be wearing coral in October thank-you-very-much.
I received a kind email this week from a reader. I often wonder if anybody even reads this tiny 'lil bloggy. Often times I am pretty sure I'm just rambling to myself. Which I'm sadly okay with. But then I'm reminded that sometimes people do care what I say. So shout out to you my awesome bloggy friends! And thank you!
Apparently I'm so cool. According to one of my students. His reasoning? Because I've watched the show Supernatural. Ha.
Earlier this week I received some sad news. I'll probably blog about it sometime, but I'm not sure how or when. Any who, I was sitting on the couch crying (I promise this is NOT a "pity me" story) and Jimmy was being so cute by rubbing my back, brushing my hair, and running for tissues. He then needed to run to the store for a toothbrush. (?) I'm pretty sure he needed some air because I can be quite the handful! Anyways, he gets home and pulls out the pack of new toothbrushes. He told me I just had to try it because "these toothbrushes have rubber bristles and they are sooo nice." He then tells me that he bought this certain pack because it had a pink toothbrush in it and he knows how much I just loooove pink. He hands me the toothbrush, I then look at it and say, "Thanks, but, um, this is red." Poor guy felt bad and offered to return it! Haha. I said I liked red as well and thanked him for cheering me up....with a toothbrush. Some girls would get flowers at this point, I get a toothbrush with rubber bristles. And yet my heart still turns mushy every time I brush my teeth.
Whew! Its Friday, y'all! I am so stoked for the weekend. We will probably spend ours cleaning our room (thank heavens!!!), wearing fluffy slippers and sweaters, and me sneaking in a thick-chocolatey-carameley-browie- or cookie doughie-shake. Then spending Sunday in a sugar coma.
I'm sorry for your sad news. I received some as well and it's hard to be upbeat sometimes. A toothbrush with awesome bristles sounds great! I think my little brother knows exactly what a girl's heart is after sometimes. ;) I do love your blog and I love reading and commenting and checking out all the little links and pictures you have on it. It's much prettier than mine, that's for sure! Keep on posting because I keep on reading! :) Oh, and that is a DARLING top you found! What a steal!
