What I'm Loving

I just love summer craft projects. The pops of color, the lightweight fabrics, all of the ruffles- it just doesn't get better! And what I love just as much as the crafts, and maybe even more, are all of the summer food recipes. We've already been using our grill every week and I can't wait to try out some more ideas this summer. Check out some of my favorites below!

Sold on these cute DIY pillow case dresses. Added that one to my ridiculously long list of things to make for the future babes. Layer a little shirt under and you've got a cute summer dress for church! And they look so easy too. What's not to love?

I love this sun dress! I am tempted to make one in my size- more adult style friendly of course. :)

And because all of my soon to be mommy friends are popping this summer, I found this adorable and efficient hospital survival gift bag to give as a gift! Such a sweet idea. She packs granola bars, hair elastics and headbands, face cleansers, mints, and other handy necessities for the hospital stay.

And for the grill- grilled veggie kabobs! Can you say yum?! These will be perfect when we harvest the garden. What a yummy side dish this would be to any summer meal.

Pina Colada Pops. I'm a sucker for anything Pina Colada. So these will be made more than once for sure this summer! Its got pineapple, banana, coconut milk, and a bit of vanilla. Sounds delish!

Do you guys have any fun summer projects, crafts, recipes, etc.? Send them my way- we could get some ideas swapping!

Happy Tuesday! Mine will be spent refilling my headband inventory and dreaming of Pina Colada Pops. :)

  1. Those ice pops look so good! So do those kabobs! YUMMY! We hope to do a lot of grilling this summer too. Lots of fresh veggies from the garden is such a great summer tradition!
